Established in 1899, Goomtee tea estate is nestled between two of Darjeeling’s most famous tea estates - Jungpana and Castleton. The misty, cold and gentle sunshine results in teas that are mellow, brisk and bright with a soft and subtle flavour.

The tender leaves of Goomtee First Flush teas are left uncut and minimally processed to retain their natural sweetness and flavour. The delicately rolled, well-twisted leaves result in a bright green appearance with a nice sprinkling of fine, silvery tips. As you savour this in your mouth, subtle accents of hyacinth and honeysuckle are revealed, tapering off into a soothing finish that conjure images of vibrant, flowering crabapple trees.
